Analysis of Water Quality, Quantity, Coverage, and Certification

Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) Village Status Classification:

The JJM has classified villages into three categories based on their level of implementation and access to Functional Household Tap Connection (FHTC).

Certified:

Villages that have 100% FHTC coverage and all tested Parameters are under the permissible limits standarized by Jal Jeevan Mission.

Reported:

Villages that claims to have 100% FHTC coverage and all parameters under permissible limits

Ongoing:

Villages have not reached a significant level of FHTC coverage, they are in-progress

Observation JJM Status:

The observation of JJM status considers three significant factors:

Water Quality:

Provide safe and pure water that is tested to be under the permissible limits of Physical, Chemical and Bacteriological Parameters


Water Quality BIS 10500 Standard should be satisfied

Water Quantity:

Supply of drinking water in a household, the supply must be 55+ litres per day for certification

Coverage:

The measure of Extent of FHTC coverage. It must be 100% for certification

To be declared as "Certified" under observation of JJM status, a village must fulfill all three factors.

This map displays the certification status. It indicates HGJ Sttaus of Villages

Observation of Certified Villages:

This map represents an observation report. It signifies where a issued certification is valid or not.
